Post wax aftercare is essential to maintaining healthy, smooth skin after your service. BWS has partnered with Fur You, a bikini safe skincare line with an array of products to suite your specific needs.

Fur Oil
An essential part of post wax skincare at Bare Wax Studio is the Fur Oil. In clinical trials, 100% of testers agreed that it minimized ingrown hairs, and 95% noticed softer hair after regrowth. Fur Oil helps to moisturize the skin with fine oils made to soak into the skin quickly. No need to worry about greasy skin or clothes here! This product should be used daily on clean, dry skin.

All Body Wash
The All Body Wash is an oil based, pH balancing body wash tested by dermatologists and gynecologists to leave skin and hair silky soft. It is recommended to use this product solely on the areas that were waxed to extend its longevity.
KP Body Scrub: for Keratosis Pilaris​
Suffering from keratosis pilaris or "chicken skin?" Keratosis pilaris is a harmless skin condition that causes dry, rough patches and tiny bumps, often on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks or buttocks. The KP Body Scrub buffs away keratin build up to reduce bumps, flaky skin, redness, and irritation to reveal soft, smooth, healthy skin underneath.
Aftercare Kit
Everything you would need post wax in one little kit. Introducing the Aftercare Kit! This little guy includes your exfoliant (Silk Scrub), your hydrator (Fur Oil), and your ingrown serum (Ingrown Eliminator Serum). If you're unsure of a product and would like to try them out before purchasing the full size, the Aftercare Kit is for you! This includes 3 sample sizes of everything you would need to maintain healthy skin!
Silk Scrub
A comfortable alternative to exfoliating if you have sensitive skin. Packed with jojoba beads, this gentle scrub removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores as the beads exfoliate and eventually disintegrate into the skin. Natural enzymes and acids then work to shrink pores.
Thayers Witch Hazel: Cucumber
The final product used in studio is alcohol free witch hazel. This product goes onto the skin using a cotton round to help keep the pores clean and free from dirt, oil, and debris after a wax. Use the witch hazel fresh out of the shower following up with a few drops of Fur Oil to lock in moisture and keep the pores clear.

Body Brush
To improve cell turn over, it's important to exfoliate dead skin cells 3x per week. An easy, affordable tool is a natural bristle body brush! No product necessary, gently pulling upwards on the skin before the shower to exfoliate minimizes the appearance of ingrown hairs and unsightly bumps. Do not exfoliate more than 3x per week.
